Engine Tuning – Colchester

There are two main reasons to get your engine tuned at RB Motors in Colchester:

1. To improve fuel efficiency – a tuned engine can save you up to 30% on fuel costs, so it’s definitely worth the initial outlay to save a lot of money in the longer term.
2. To increase power and acceleration – by tuning the settings on your car’s engine control unit, we can substantially improve the performance of your car.

Some people say that tuning your car engine can have a detrimental effect on the durability of the car’s engine. As long as you have your engine professionally tuned and follow the technician’s advice, your car will be fine. At the end of the day, it comes down to how hard you drive your vehicle, whether you use your car simply for a daily commute or whether you want to make the most of every bit of that extra horsepower.

RB Motors in Colchester is proud to be affiliated with the RMI and to partner with industry leaders such as Shell and Pagid. We’ve also partnered with Payment Assist so that our customers can split the cost of repairs into more manageable, interest-free monthly chunks.
